In what ways does the courtroom work group affect how a defense attorney represents a client?
Gideon v. Wainwright guarantees the right to court appointed counsel for indigents in felony cases. Should counsel be appointed in noncriminal matters? Why or why not?

Example of a full credit answer
This question asks: How should investigators conduct reconnaissance and surveillance activities at this location in order to gather information and intelligence in preparation for the sting?
Response: Plain clothes officers in unmarked cars should establish positions in close proximity that surround the property without being detected (window tint, dashboard/windshield shades, etc.). Camera and video equipment should be used to monitor the daily and nightly activities of persons and vehicles coming and going. All ingress and egress points should be documented. A police helicopter from long distances and high altitude can provide a bird’s eye view and photos/video of the property. The helicopter can also be used to follow vehicles of interest or vehicles that marked police units follow away from the location and conduct traffic stops in order to gather intelligence from the occupants. Marked police units can also conduct subject stops of persons that left the location. Undercover units should be directing the marked units so their cover is not compromised.
Complete all required tasks, and then upload your work for grading. Submit your work as a file attachment. This means you complete all work in a word processing document (e.g., Microsoft Word). Acceptable formats are .doc and .docx. Only work submitted in document form will be graded. Nothing typed in the textbox will be graded. This assignment is worth 10 points.
Please find below the grading rubric to which all written assignments are graded.
